The riders field for the Night of Freestyle tour 2027 is set!
One rider who simply cannot be missing from the FMX lineup is Luc Ackermann. As the youngest-ever FIM World Champion, X Games medalist and multiple world record holder, he is among the absolute best in the sport. Adam Jones, known as the American FMX Style Master, will blow you away with insane tricks like the Deadbody Backflip. Italy’s Davide Rossi and the Czech Republic’s Matej Cesak are set to battle it out with some of the most spectacular Frontflip combinations. Representing the electric side of FMX are Ry Hazell from Australia and Seth Henson from New Zealand. Who will throw down the biggest whip on their Stark bikes?
Making his Night of Freestyle debut is five-time FIM World Champion Maikel Melero from Spain. Another exciting newcomer is young Belgian talent Troy Verburgh, who will be performing at Night of Freestyle for the very first time. Does his name sound familiar? His father, Jimmy Verburgh, founder of FMX4ever, was one of the pioneers of FMX back in the late 1990s. The lineup also features FIM Freestyle Motocross World Champion, X Games winner, and two-time Dakar Rally finisher Libor Podmol, alongside French FMX legend Brice Izzo.
Always a highlight of the show: the Heavy Vehicles!
The Belgian duo Jason van Daele and Birgen Beernaert are the only riders in the world performing a backflip with a sidecar!
And as if that weren’t enough, the two have decided to take things even further by attempting a backflip with a 1,000 kg two-seater buggy!
Another world-exclusive spectacle: two athletes on one snowmobile! Pilot Jason Cesco and passenger Vinnie Janssens (who also competes on the mountain bike) make the impossible possible, performing breathtaking tricks and backflips together on a snowmobile.
From our 12-meter-high takeoff tower, athletes will launch themselves into action on four different types of vehicles. In the mountain bike category, we’re excited to welcome back Red Bull athletes Erik Fedko and Lennox Zimmermann this season. Young talent Juul Stegers will return for his second tour following his recent injury, while German Night of Freestyle veteran Jannik Völk is already heading into his tenth touring season.
In the BMX category, we’re thrilled to welcome back Australian Nitro Circus talent Dylan Devitt. He performs incredible, world-exclusive tricks on his BMX, including 360 Nothing Front Bike Flips, 720 Front Flip Tail Whips, Double Backflip Tail Whips, and Front Flip Nothing Front Bike Flips.
But Tom van den Bogaard from the Netherlands is equally ready to impress! Young German rider Mattis Neumann will also be making his first appearances at the show.
Taking on the ramps with the smallest wheels are CJ Wellsmore from Australia and Maty Pekarek and Petr Castka from the Czech Republic. CJ will amaze the crowd with incredible inline skating tricks, while Maty and Petr are ready to bring the excitement with their scooters.
