NIGHT OF FREESTYLE 2023/2024 SEASON WITH A WORLD PREMIERE!
After a long, pandemic-induced hiatus, the Night of Freestyle is finally heading back on tour across Germany for the 2023/2024 winter season. The motto, fittingly, is “Back to Live.”
For a spectacular comeback, the Night of Freestyle Crew has come up with something truly special and an absolute world premiere: a backflip on a sidecar!
Anyone who’s ever seen a motocross sidecar race knows that these guys are really tough and always go full throttle. Belgians Jason Vandaele and Birgen Beernaert want to finally make the impossible possible live on a show. Because about four years ago, they tried doing a backflip on their sidecar just once—and haven’t done it since! The two Belgian pros are currently among the top contenders in the Sidecar World Championship, yet they still want to attempt this incredible stunt for the Night of Freestyle. Excitement and thrills are guaranteed!
In addition, spectators can of course look forward to events such as freestyle motocross, mountain biking, BMX, and scooter racing.
If you’re looking for the world’s best athletes in every sport and want to see “world-first” tricks, the Night of Freestyle is the place for you.
The 2023/2024 FMX rider lineup features top-tier riders such as:
Luc Ackermann: youngest FMX world champion, world record holder
Pat Bowden: multiple World Games winner
David Rinaldo: X Games gold medalist
Adam Jones: multiple X Games medalist
Alex Porsing: winner of “Denmark’s Got Talent”
Brice Izzo, Paul Manesse, Matej Cesak, and Thomas Wirnsberger will round out the FMX lineup.
Of course, the mountain bike field wouldn’t be complete without one star: Erik Fedko is sure to impress with his style and difficult tricks.
He is joined by an international field of riders consisting of twins Vinzent and Valentin Reimann, Nicolas Kroffig, Dan Miler, Franck Paulin, Joseph Forissier, Jannik Völk, Vinnie Janssens, and Tom Pfeiffer.
Our two scooter riders will be out and about on very small wheels, pulling off lots of cool trick combinations.
Of course, the sporting spectacle will continue to be accompanied by a spectacular pyrotechnics and laser show, and there are a few new surprises in store there as well.
